STEM-Biology Building Connection

Introduction

The next phase of The College of New Jersey's campus plan is to demolish Holman Hall and construct a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) building in its place.

Since the building will consist of subjects that are in the School of Sciences, the campus architect is looking for a way to connect the proposed STEM building with the Science Complex.

Objectives

The objectives for our Senior Project are to design the connection between the proposed STEM building and the exisiting Biology building.

In order to design the connection, our team will have to focus on designing the foundation of the connection, the columns and beams within the connection, and also the ways that those columns and beams are connected to each other.
